The Economics of Energy Markets
January 28-29, 2010, Toulouse, France
On January 28-29, 2010, the Institut d’Economie Industrielle organizes its 7th conference on Energy Markets. We will bring together top researchers and practitioners, in order to facilitate exchanges between these two communities on recent advances in the economics of electricity and natural gas industries. During two plenary sessions and six parallel sessions, speakers will address a variety of questions on wind power and energy storage, asset divesture, exclusive contracts, pipelines regulation, financial transmission rights, polluting emissions, etc. The conference will also welcome a round-table on electricity retail where leading practitioners will confront scientific perspectives with business reality, and compare and contrast various European experiences.
