Trading in electronic markets, Toulouse, France, September 11–12, 2014.
Bruno Biais and Sophie Moinas, TSE researchers, organize a workshop on "Trading in electronic market". The workshop is sponsored by the ERC and the FBF, and it will take place from September 11 to September 12. Its objective is to bring together several researchers, who will present their recent work on various issues linked with trading in electronic markets, like risk sharing, pricing competition, trading frequency, and transaction taxes. The workshop also brings together various research methodologies, e.g. theory, empirics, and experiments. Presenters include Andrea Attar, and Sophie Moinas, from TSE, Peter Hoffmann (European Central Bank), Emiliano Pagnotta (New York University (NYU)- Stern), Ioanid Rosu (HEC), and Haoxiang Zhu (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). A panel discussion with Paul BESSON (Head of Quant Research - Kepler Chevreux), and Philippe GUILLOT (Executive Director of the Markets Division - Autorité des Marchés Financiers), and Bruno Biais (TSE) will conclude the first day.
